Many informations have been given about BD during the nearly 40 years of its history. Since Pep Bonet, Lluís Clotet, Cristian Cirici, Mireia Riera and Oscar Tusquets founded Boccacio Design in 1972,with complicity of Oriol Regás, the catalan editor has always been in the vanguard of the design culture and was a meeting place for this profession. In its first shop in Via Augusta, in the emblematic showroom of the Casa Thomas in the Calle Mallorca when the name changed into BD Ediciones de Diseño, and now in the new space situated in the heart of Poblenou, where classical designs live together with the most modern ones. Just as expected the communication medias informed widely of teh opening and dedicated a generous space to BD.
