Jordi Pérez is a designer who co-created the Plec umbrella stand with Isabel Gamero for BD. They created a piece of simple, functional beauty in stainless steel.
Jordi Pérez was born in Barcelona in 1969, and studied at Barcelona’s Elisava School of Design & Engineering. He has won several design awards and collaborated with renowned design studios and manufacturing companies in Spain and Italy. Since 2002, he has formed part of the Roca Design Center and lectured at Elisava and the Centro Ricerche Domus Academy in Milan.
