A penthouse overlooking Barcelona, renovated by MH.AP Studio, integrates BD Barcelona furniture into a space defined by light, openness, and precision.
A PILLOW sofa by Muller Van Severen for BD Barcelona anchors the central living area. Its plush expression of form brings comfort, while its smoothly curved edges allow it to operate as a flexible, modular piece. Paired with the 2001 SIDE TABLES by Otto Canalda and Ramón Úbeda for BD Barcelona, the composition gains a quiet sculptural counterpoint. The setting is completed by the STEDELIJK chairs by Sabine Marcelis, which add a strong material presence to the interior.

The project is shaped by close collaboration between architects, designers, and clients, resulting in an interior where furniture is not treated as an accent, but as an extension of the architectural work.
Set against warm materials and Mediterranean light, architecture and furniture work together within a shared spatial language. Different contemporary pieces coexist naturally, and what connects them is intentionality and the timelessness of form.
