Over the following three decades, several buildings have emerged in Basil, notably Building 1—a 178 m tall tower that was the tallest in Switzerland at completion. With a height of 205 meters and a capacity for 3,100 employees, the new tower, Building 2, adds to the first skyscraper designed by the studio to house the offices of the pharmaceutical company in Wettstein, using the same volumetric concept.
